Visit the main sights of the capital of Rio Grande do Norte, according to NASA, the second breathing clean air of the planet. Contested by Portuguese, Dutch and French pirates, Natal relates with its old houses, churches, museums and the Forte dos Reis Magos,(Wise Men Fortress), 1598, occurences of its colonial past.

In the itinerary, the Museum Camara Cascudo, gathering important anthropological collection, the Center for Tourism, offering the opportunity to learn and acquire pieces of handicrafts, the Fortaleza dos Reis Magos which is located on the banks of the Potengy river and the edges of the Atlantic Ocean, Teatro Alberto Maranhão (1904), beautiful monument in the neoclassical style, Praça (Square) André de Albuquerque, the oldest of the municipality, the Cidade Alta (upper part of the city), where we admire the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary (1706-1714); the exciting beaches of Artists and Meio (Middle), centers of night entertainment, plus a tour in Ponta Negra, (Black Cape) with the Park and the famous dunes of Morro do Careca, (Bald Hills), dunes of 80 meters height , one of the main post-cards of this charming city in the northeast of Brazil. On the way, we continue our tour by the Route of the Sun, with a stop for taking pictures at the Barreira do Inferno, (Barrier of Hell), the most important Air Base in Brazil due to its strategic location, we see the quiet beach of Cotovelo (Elbow Beach), where its cliffs of natural viewpoints reveal landscapes of endless beauty. Also in Pirangi, a precise spot of summer, a visit to the already acclaimed by the Guinness Book, "the world's largest cashew tree", with its top of 8,400 meters and a production of up to 80 thousand fruit per year.

Only 17 kilometers from Natal, with easy access by Route of the Sun, we will find Pirangi, seductive cove where banks of coral islands form Parrachos, (pools) that occur in ebb-tide and can be reached by boats departing from the Marina Badauê, which has an excellent infrastructure to support coasting navigation.
